Steaming
- Fill a pot with about an inch of water and place a steamer basket inside. Make sure the water level is below the basket.
- Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Place the frozen broccoli florets in the steamer basket.
- Cover the pot with a lid and steam the broccoli for 5-7 minutes or until it is tender and bright green.
- Remove the broccoli from the steamer and serve with a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and lemon juice if desired.
Boiling
- Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil over high heat. Add a pinch of salt to the water.
- Carefully add the frozen broccoli florets to the boiling water.
- Boil the broccoli for 3-5 minutes or until it is tender but still bright green.
- Drain the broccoli in a colander and shake off any excess water.
- Transfer the broccoli to a serving dish and season with butter, salt, and pepper.
Microwave
- Place the frozen broccoli in a microwave-safe dish. Add a tablespoon of water to the dish.
- Cover the dish with a microwave-safe lid or plastic wrap, leaving a small gap for steam to escape.
- Microwave on high for 3-5 minutes. Stir halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Check if the broccoli is tender. If not, microwave in 1-minute increments until done.
- Carefully remove the dish from the microwave and season the broccoli as desired.
Sauteing
- Heat a tablespoon of olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the frozen broccoli to the skillet.
- Cook the broccoli, occasionally stirring, for 5-7 minutes or until it is tender and starting to brown.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (optional!).
Roasting
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F or 220 degrees C.
- Spread the frozen broccoli florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and your favorite blend of herbs or spices.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the broccoli is crispy and slightly charred.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
Air Frying
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C for about 5 minutes.
- Place the frozen broccoli in the air fryer basket.
- Spray or drizzle with a small amount of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the broccoli is crispy and tender.
Stir-Frying
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add garlic, ginger, or other aromatics and stir-fry for a few seconds.
- Add the frozen broccoli and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until tender and heated through.
- Season with soy sauce, sesame oil, and other desired sauces or seasonings.
